From Grafenhausen past the Hüsli and Rothaus uphill to Balzhausen. Via Sommerau, Steinasäge, Steinabad and Roggenbach, the route takes you back downhill to the starting point in Grafenhausen
On this tour, you experience a short journey through time in the Black Forest. First stop: the well-known Hüsli folk museum near Grafenhausen. The house was built in 1912 and provides an insight into the way of life of people in the Upper Black Forest in earlier times. The Badische Staatbrauerei Rothaus AG brewery is located in the immediate vicinity. The Rot in "Rothaus" goes back to the patrician Roth family, who began building the Rothen Haus in 1340. After a refreshing bike ride, the route continues to Roggenbach, where you can explore the ruins of the Roggenbach castles. The route leads uphill through the Erlenbach valley back to Grafenhausen.
