Albsteig Schwarzwald Etappe 5 Tour Ost: Menzenschwand - Feldberg Passhöhe Genießer

This stage leads along the Menzenschwander Alb to the top of the pass on the Feldberg. Along the way are natural spectacles such as the Menzenschwander waterfall and the Klusen moraine.

From the front village in Menzenschwand, the Albsteig trail leads along idyllic field paths to the rear village, past the game reserve, the ski jump and the Radon Revital Bad. After crossing the village, you soon reach the Menzenschwand waterfall, which offers welcome refreshment in its narrow gorge, even on warm days. In summer, the waterfall is sometimes illuminated in the evening. The hiking trail continues steadily uphill on a narrow path through goat pastures along the slope. The goats are used to maintain the landscape and help to preserve the unique vegetation of the high valley. At the end of the path, the hiking trail leads back down to the valley floor, where the idyllic Klusen Moraine invites you to take a break. The trail continues along the small river to Maria Loch. There, the steep ascent begins along a narrow path towards the top of the Feldberg pass. Once at the top, you hike past the Menzenschwander Hütte to the top of the pass, today's stage destination.
