RI8 - Boulder Garden Route

During the extraction of gravel and sand, so-called erratics are repeatedly brought to light. These are rocks pushed into this area by glaciers during the Ice Age. A representative selection of these stones from the Saale Ice Age has been set up in the Möllenbecker Erratic Garden. Several information boards there explain the unique geology in the Möllenbeck-Krankenhäger Kames-Hügelland.
