This tour leads through open heathland, past a bizarre juniper bush, venerable oaks and birches to the foot of the Wilseder Berg. Those who continue the 400 meters to the summit will be rewarded with a wide view all the way to Hamburg in good weather. The tour owes its name to the decaying tree stumps that can be seen on the last stretch, rising among the young heather bushes.Tip: On the way back, you can also view the Wilseder Berg from a distance from an observation platform next to the Princes Grave.Start/Finish: Parking lot or Nature Information House Niederhaverbeck (Heath Shuttle)
