On hiking trail no. 30, you can switch off from everyday life and let your soul dangle. After a few meters at the edge of the field, you enter the forest at Westerlinde and enjoy the peace and nature from now on. The healthy beech forest provides coolness on hot summer days. The mostly wide path allows for a relaxed just walk straight ahead. Good signposting provides helpful orientation. At a path junction, there is a small rest bench that can be used for a break. The Hohe Warte (226.2 m) is the highest point of the tour. On the descent, the path actually leads over the high trail as a footpath, but you can also use the parallel, more comfortable forest road. Both paths meet shortly before reaching the road again. Note: In summer 2021, the parking lot at the sports field was overgrown, but you can park at the entrance.
