The Spirit - cycling route through the Geestland

This circular route offers an excellent view of the animal and plant life of the Sellstedter See and Ochsentriftmoor nature reserve from the saddle.The route leads through the moor spa town of Bad Bederkesa. Once there, it is worth taking a look at the main attractions: The water castle (Burg Bederkesa) and the historic windmill. For a little refreshment, a cool drink at the beer garden of the castle inn is recommended.Another recommended stop is at Spadener See. Not only is it beautifully situated, but the water also entices with its excellent quality for swimming.Bramel is also a place worth a short break from cycling.
