From there, it continues along the stone embankment - directly on the North Sea and the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park. By the water at high tide - or on the mudflats at low tide. This route is not very long - but it is challenging. On the storm path, one is directly exposed to the respective weather influences and experiences wind and weather up close. There is no shade to be found - but there are several benches that offer an unobstructed, wide view of the sea for a little break. Small inclines through the dyke need to be overcome. Along the stone embankment, the respiratory tract is exposed to aerosol-containing air.
