Ridge with Heron Lake

On this 6 km long hike (marked as hiking trail 15), there are several rest areas available, so its worth bringing a backpack with food. The trail quality ranges from paved forest road to dirt path to swampy forest work road. Therefore, the trail is better not to be taken after rainy weather. Beautiful experiences on the route are offered by Reihersee with a stamp station at the local shelter. Challenging is the subsequent ascent to the ridge path, as the forest workers path is very swampy when wet. Along a clearing, a tree has fallen, so the course of the trail must be adjusted, please find the way to the forest road individually. A planned connecting path through the spruce forest later between trails No. 13 and No. 14 was difficult to spot in the summer of 2021 - here, too, a spirit of discovery is required to get through. So, this trail also offers something for adventurers.
