Naturparke-Gravel-Crossing Tag 4 - Von Mühlacker nach Bad Wildbad

On the fourth stage, you leave the Stromberg-Heuchelberg Nature Park with its gently undulating landscape and gain your first impressions of the Black Forest. Dense forests and wild rivers line the route. After this route, you will have your first 1000 m of climbing in one day in your legs.

From Mühlacker, the route now takes you 54 km and 1000 m of climbing to Bad Wildbad. You will encounter parts of the Enz or its tributaries again and again.The cycle route initially winds along the Enz through wooded mountains. In Pforzheim, the route takes you past the gasometer and through the Enzauenpark.

If you want to add a detour to the tour after Pforzheim, you can visit the Hohe Warte observation tower, which is around 4 km off the route. Meanwhile, the original route leads a short distance along the Nagold. A stop at the Kneipp facility "In den Bernhardswiesen" in Langenbrand offers you the opportunity to cool off on the rest of the route.

Shortly before Calmbach, you reach the highest point of the tour and are rewarded with a beautiful view of the valley. After the descent to Calmbach, you cross the Kleine Enz and follow the Große Enz for the last few kilometers to Bad Wildbad.
