The nature tour through Rödinghausen starts at the citizen solar plant and leads past valleys and streams to the old fruit tree avenue Waghoster Straße. With a bit of luck, fortified with fresh fruit, you continue to the beautiful old pollard willows at the Grenzbach. Wind turbines at Hagsbrink point the way to the largest orchard meadow far and wide. After a brief glimpse into the Habighorster Wiesental, the route leads partly on grass paths past farmsteads with old oaks, historic mill sites, and beautiful views to the Wiehengebirge. Quarries, spruce forests, and coppices accompany you on this somewhat sweat-inducing section. Downhill past the old rendering plant and under the railway. Shortly before the end of the route, the path crosses the stream "Große Aue," which makes its way through the Wiehengebirge to the north.
