Panorama Route Stemwede ST 3

The route tour ST3 leads through the villages of Dielingen and Haldem to Drohne.
After starting at the Dielingen cemetery, there is a small ascent to the Dielingen Klei. At 92 meters high, there is a beautiful view of the village of Drohne. In good weather and clear visibility, you can even see the Dümmer See. You also have a good view of the Stemweder Berg in the east and the Wiehengebirge in the south. The routes to Haldem and Drohne are easy to manage without much effort on flat paths.
If you do get hungry on the varied route, there are numerous opportunities for a break. The rest areas at Ilweder Hof in Haldem or at Immenklause in Drohne ("Unter den Eichen" with a playground) invite you to a cozy picnic. To enjoy the delicacies of Stemwede restaurateurs, however, you will have to take slightly longer routes. The Rosengarten inn in Haldem as well as the Berghotel Wilhelmshöhe in Haldem are about two kilometers away from the main cycle path.
This route also has a lot to offer culturally. You can visit the burial site of the von der Horst family (Haldem), the interior of the Heilig-Kreuz-Kapelle at the Haldem cemetery, or the St. Marienkirche in Dielingen.
