The "Marienloher Lipperundweg", which is only just under six kilometers long, leads through the floodplain areas of the Lippe River located north of the village. Horse pastures and hay meadows line both sides of the path in the first part of the hike, which is bordered by numerous old pollard willows, ash trees, oaks, and poplars. Since 1992, a large glacial erratic marks the spot where the Beke River, which has traveled about 17 kilometers up to this point, flows into the Lippe River. It is slightly louder near the B 1. Then a beautiful nature trail follows, running along the Lippe River through the forest. For conservation reasons, the path continues on a sandy trail, then back along pasture fields to the starting point.
The hike has no significant changes in elevation. However, due to the natural paths, sturdy footwear is recommended.
Note: Due to a broken bridge over the B1, the route between the confluence of the Beke River and the sand dune is diverted. This route runs parallel to the Lippe River, is marked as a "detour", and is also represented accordingly.
