On almost 5 km you will find child-friendly information stations with various topics for environmental education. The path, which also includes local gastronomy, first leads past the nature park school Am Teimer and then on rustic nature trails through the nature reserve with a masterwort beech forest. The Teimer, one of the oldest nature reserves in the Lippe district (since 1983), rises with a height of 326m and a rich flora and fauna above Bavenhausen.
Continuing along the edge of the forest, you finally get a great view of the windmill of Bavenhausen, which is reached later on. Arriving at the windmill at the top, a seating area and a landscape recliner invite you to rest and linger, offering a great view over the Lippe mountain region.
