This hiking trail mainly leads through the Holter Wald. Starting from the hunting lodge in Schloß Holte, you will walk about 2 km along the forest path following the signs for the Schlossweg, until you turn left onto the Waldteufelweg (white devil's face on a red background). After just 600 meters, you will reach the Schlossweg again (with its orange markings featuring three towers), which you will follow towards Schloß Holte. The path will then take you for another 2 km along the banks of the natural Ölbach stream, through diverse forests and meadows, back to the hunting lodge Holte, where the Holter Schlosskrug invites you to take a break.
