Naafbachtal Route

First, we pass under the bypass road of Wahlscheid and are directly in the landscape garden at Aggerbogen. After about 200 m, we turn left and drive towards Aggerschlösschen, which we reach via a wooden bridge. Another 200 m later, we turn left towards Brückerhof/Hitzhof.

After passing Brückerhof, we turn left at Hitzhof. Past a campsite, we turn left over the Agger bridge and are now on the B 484, which we only follow for a few meters. Here we turn right and immediately left onto the road leading to Höffen.

We take the third right turn and are already greeted by a wooden sign saying "Welcome to the Naafbachtal nature reserve." After a few meters, we hear the splashing of the Naafbachtal. The next kilometers we drive on more or less well-paved field paths along the edge of the forest through the quiet, idyllic Naafbachtal, past the Naafmühle and Naaf, always further towards Ingersauel. Towards the end of the route through the Naafbachtal, we pass an ostrich farm and then we are already on the district road connecting Neuhonrath and Seelscheid.

We turn left into Ingersauel and continue uphill via Saal, to Oberstehöhe. Once at the top, we have the descent via Grünenborn to Neuhonrath in the Aggertal. In Neuhonrath, we turn left into Schachenaueler Straße (first section only for bicycles/pedestrians). Past tennis courts (Attention: Speed limit 10 km/h), we soon reach a high bank of the Agger and are almost in Wahlscheid. We pass a playground on the right side. Past the retirement home, we turn left into Wahlscheider Straße, where we can already see the forum.
