Bigge-Lister-Seenroute

The nature experience area Biggesee-Listersee offers perfect infrastructure for cyclists. In addition to the typical undulating landscape of the Sauerland region with hills, forests, and valleys, lonely roads and challenging trails provide optimal conditions.
The lake route (one of the two variants of the Bigge-Lister cycle ring) leads almost 50 km mainly along the shoreline of the lakes. The route is equipped with information boards to find out about the current location. Along the way, numerous rest and relaxation areas invite you to linger.
From the start of the GPX track, the "Waldenburger Bucht" car park (of course, the start of this circular tour can also be at any other location) near Attendorn, you cycle in a southerly direction always close to the Biggesee. In the course of the second half of the tour, you soon reach the Listerdamm. The dam separates the water masses of the Bigge and Lister reservoirs. The tour continues around the Listersee and back around the Biggesee, until you finally reach the Biggestaudamm.
Swimming opportunities, the viewpoint "BiggeBlick" or combining it with a boat tour ensure a varied tour for the whole family.
