The most beautiful road bike passes in the Sauerland - Jagdhaus

After turning off from B 236, you first drive flat through the picturesque half-timbered village of Fleckenberg. The climb starts suddenly and steeply through a left turn. Those who are not properly warmed up here will quickly feel the lactic acid in their legs.
At the exit of the village, the incline becomes somewhat more moderate but still steep. You quickly gain height and on the left side, there is a wide view over the surrounding mountains. Back in the forest, several switchbacks follow, and you slowly approach the small village of "Jagdhaus" and thus the highest point.
In Jagdhaus, there are good opportunities to replenish your energy reserves. This is followed by an equally great descent to the Siegerland side of the Rothaargebirge and into the valley of the Eder. Here you can decide: either downstream towards Bad Berleburg or upstream towards the next pass, the Rhein-Weser-Turm.
