Hohe-Bracht-Tour - Tour No. A

From the Altenhundem train station (Lennestadt), the tour follows the Lenne river. The tour runs along a section of the SauerlandRadrings. In Meggen, situated high above the Lennetal valley and visible from afar, are the Sauerland Pyramids, inside of which is the Galileo Park. Right next to it is the Siciliaschacht Mining Museum. However, the tour continues to Grevenbrück. From there, the tour continues to Elspe, the location of the famous Karl May Festspiele. Up to Halberbracht, the highest point of the tour, it is a steady climb. The reward for the efforts follows immediately, as it is only downhill to Langenei, where you meet the Lenne again. Here you are back on the SauerlandRading and via Kickenbach you then return to the starting point of the round in Altenhundem.
