To the Hennesee

With the Heimat- und Maschinenmuseum Eslohe, the first highlight of the tour is already waiting right at the beginning. However, a visit should perhaps be planned at the end of the tour. The tour continues via Sallinghausen and a beautiful new railway embankment cycle path to Wenholthausen.
Via Büenfeld, Erflinghausen, and Mielinghausen, you reach the Hennesee. You cross the bridge that separates the front and main basins of the lake and ride along the eastern shore on a beautiful quiet edge path towards Meschede. At the end of the edge path, you reach the dam of the Hennetalsperre. There you have the opportunity (on foot) to go down the stairs to the sky and take a look at the beautifully landscaped Hennepark.
Via the cycle path, it goes slightly uphill to the beautiful half-timbered village of Remblinghausen, which is ideal for a short rest. At junction 24, you turn off towards Herhagen. Via Reiste, you reach the SauerlandRadring again and follow it back to Eslohe.
