We leave Winterberg uphill towards the south and cycle on a great high-altitude trail through the forest towards "Hohe Seite" and then mostly downhill to Hesborn. From here we cross over a mountain ridge with an interesting descent to Medelon in the Orke Valley. The Orke Valley leads us through the Vildisch Grund to the Ehrenscheider Mill and invites us to rest on many benches in picturesque surroundings. The only difficult mountain we have to overcome is the one up to Winterberg (the first 200 m pushing), from where we quickly return to Bremberg.
