After starting in Lennestadt/Altenhundem, the tour continues to Grevenbrück on the Sauerland cycling ring. There, the route turns into the Veischede valley and leads uphill via Bilstein. The medieval castle of Bilstein towers high above the town, clearly visible. The castle from the 12th century houses a youth hostel.
The journey continues over Kirchveischede on a cycle path to Oberveischede.
Now you can enjoy a nice long descent ride. From Mecklinhausen, you pass through the idyllic Repetal with its high-quality gastronomic offerings. In Borghausen, the tour turns right and you cycle back onto the Sauerland cycling ring to the starting point in Altenhundem.
