Perfgrundtour

The bike tour first follows a cycle path through the villages of Laaspherhütte and Herbertshausen to Banfe. The route then continues along the beautiful Banfe valley until the Hesselbachtal. Here, the route turns left towards Hesselbach. At the end of the village, a short ascent must be overcome before the path descends into the Boxbachtal behind the state border. In the Boxbachtal - with a long-standing mining tradition - the tour passes by the Waldhotel Gille until reaching the small village of Wiesenbach and then through Breidenbach into the Perf valley. Here, the route meets the Lakes Cycle Path, which leads cyclists to the Perfstausee. The beautifully located reservoir, completed in 1993, invites you to take a pleasant break (Tip: Seeblick restaurant). Afterwards, the route leads through Breidenstein with its impressive half-timbered castle to Wallau. Together with the Lahn Valley Cycle Path, the tour takes you through the Lahn Valley back to Bad Laasphe.
