Möhnesee - Tour Kanzelbrücke

As church pulpits, the bridge pillars rise from the water of Lake Möhnesee and gave the bridge, which is the centerpiece of the tour, its name. The circular tour can be started at any point. Körbecke, the main town of the Möhnesee municipality, is a good choice. There are free parking spaces available at the guest house, and after the tour, the town offers many opportunities for dining or leisure activities.
Except for the sections in the towns of Körbecke and Stockum, as well as a short stretch on the southern shore, the circular tour leads along separate cycle paths or pedestrian and cycle paths, making it suitable for families with children.
The ride starts from Körbecke towards the east, through the fields below the Haarstrang ridge with a view of the lake below us. After the Stockum district, we turn right onto the former railway line "Pengel-Anton" and follow it down to the shore. Here, the Wamel "Uferlos" beach invites you to take a break and cool off in the lake. We continue to the Kanzelbrücke. From the romantic bridge, you have a wonderful view to the left of the nature reserve "Möhneaue Völlinghausen" and to the right of the Wameler Becken.
We cycle along the southern shore until the Stockumer Damm leads us back to the northern shore, and then we continue along the lake back to Körbecke. Upon arrival here, the newly designed lake staircase is ideal for a longer stay. Gastronomic offers for every taste and play and sports opportunities for young and old are located close together. From here, it is only a short ride - unfortunately uphill - back to the starting point at the guest house.
