The Ginsberger Heide has always been a popular destination for families. The circular path, which is 4km long and child-friendly, leads past all the sights. From the start, it is only a few meters to the Gillerbergturm, which rises unmistakably to a height of 15m and guarantees a great view. After 1.5 km, the big and little hikers reach Hilchenbach's landmark, the Ginsburg, downhill. The legend of the robber knight Hans Hübner will particularly excite the youngest visitors, and the view over the entire Siegerland rewards the whole family. After a refreshment in the Ginsburgstube, you continue on rustic forest paths to the next stage destination: the nature playground Ginsberger Heide. Here, children can explore and get to know nature in a playful way. There is also space for a picnic in the great outdoors, or you can take a break at the Hotel+Restaurant Ginsberger Heide before heading back uphill past the ski lift on the final part of the hike to the starting point.
