Scenic hike along the streams "Linnepe" and "Sellbach". There are interesting things to see in "Linneperhütte". Around 1800, miners settled here, working in the nearby ore mines. As a witness of time, an old oak tree stands in the village, with an Angelus bell hanging in a fork of its branches. Wage laborers brought this bell as a shift bell from the construction of the Ruhr Valley Railway in 1870. It is still manually operated today. The oak tree is located a hundred meters from the hiking trail, in the middle of the village at Sellbach, so no big detour.
