Circular hike Sichtigvor

We start our hike at the hiking parking lot "Narrenberg" in Sichtigvor. We reach this by leaving the roundabout at the monastery or nursing home via St.-Georg-Straße and driving to the edge of the forest (signposted).
From the parking lot we turn right into the forest, soon turning left in front of the half-timbered house Scharpensel to go uphill on the marked path A 14. At the next junction, we continue to the right. The path winds further uphill along the mountain, with the terrain sometimes more, sometimes less steeply dropping to the right of our path. As soon as it goes slightly downhill again, we come across a path (Anton-Cramer-Weg) that leads back down to the valley to the right. But we turn left uphill. Only after the highest point do we leave this path again. We do not go to the right but downhill to the left on an unmarked path. Through some curves, it now goes steeply downhill. In a long left curve, Fischer ponds are hidden on the right. After some time, the forest opens up and we have a view over the Möhne Valley as we continue following the path downhill. At the bottom, we then come across a path, which we continue to the left. It goes flat on gravel and then slightly uphill on a tarred farm road. We walk parallel to the Möhne Valley cycle path towards Sichtigvor. Before going downhill again to Sichtigvor, we make a worthwhile detour. We turn slightly to the left and follow the "Kreuzweg" in winding turns uphill again to the "Kalvarienberg". Here at the chapel, we have a wonderful view over Sichtigvor, Mülheim, and far into the Möhne Valley. After a stay, we go back downhill on the same path, and then continue our way into Sichtigvor at the bottom and further on the Möhne Valley cycle path towards the "Alter Bahnhof". Shortly after, we meet St.-Georg-Straße again and follow it to the left back to our starting point.
