Niers Nature Round / Graefenthal Monastery Goch

The tour starts (with a view from the parking lot to the gate arch of Kloster Graefenthal) on the right side of the Niers hiking trail. At the end of the lake (after approx. 900 m), take a left turn towards the Niers. The hiking trail continues for approx. 900 m until reaching Triftstraße. Cross the bridge on the left and immediately turn left at the next opportunity. This "access road" leads to a parking lot, and from there follow the forest path. After approx. 1200 m, leave the bridle path on the left and continue straight for another approx. 600 m until a turnoff on the right leads up a hill. The hike continues on the left path. After another 800 m, take a right uphill again, and there also keep left, walking parallel to the Niers until after approx. 1000 m a bridge appears on the left side. Cross it and follow the newly constructed path along the Niers for approx. 1000 m until reaching a fork with a bench. Keep left there, walk along the Niers, then turn left at the next fork to automatically return to the starting point.
