Right at the beginning, the cyclist is faced with a climb to the Rhein-Weser Tower, which involves over 350 meters of elevation gain. After a nice descent, the route includes the second challenging climb to Jagdhaus.
The course continues over Schmallenberg with constant ups and downs back to the Lennetal near Heggen, from where it's only a stone's throw to Altenhundem.
