Bike Arena Sauerland - Versetalsperre and Oestertalsperre

This tour leads through the southern Märkischer Kreis. The federal road 229 is followed in the direction of Lüdenscheid to the Altenmühle. Here we turn into the Schwarze Ahe. The road winds around the tranquil stream of the Ahe. From the Herscheider Mühle, there is a climb that is easily manageable on the new cycle path. We roll down to the Versetalsperre and enjoy the car-free road on the forest side with a beautiful view of the reservoir. From Reblin, we roll on a very low-traffic secondary route to Kisbert. Further along the way lies the Oestertalsperre, which invites you to linger and strengthen. Following the Oester, we reach Plettenberg, which we leave on the B236 towards Finnentrop. From Linschede, we climb the Schlot in a moderate incline. After a great descent, there is another climb from Hüttebrüchen to Affeln. From here, it's back to Neuenrade.
