Ginsterkopf Tour Olsberg-Bruchhausen (Rothaarsteig)

From Olsberg Touristik, the route leads directly onto the Rothaarsteig hiking trail via the Rothaarsteig access path (marked with the "lying R"). The path continues over Borberg with the Carolingian wall structure and chapel from 1924, then further on to the panoramic variant Ginsterkop with an impressive view.
Past the Feuereiche, the route continues on the excellent paths of the Rothaarsteig, below the Bruchhauser Steine - the national natural monument, towards the European Gold Village of Bruchhausen. The Bruchhauser Steine can be hiked via the information center. This area is a foundation site that can only be experienced by visitors after paying the entrance fee.
The four rocks are estimated to be 340 million years old. Remnants of an old fortification are also preserved. A special panoramic view can be enjoyed from the 45-meter high Feldstein.
In Golddorf Bruchhausen, after a brief stop, the castle can be admired from the outside.
There is now the option to return to Olsberg by bus (S30/R31) every hour or to hike back to Olsberg via the hiking trail (Raute) (approx. 8 km).
