Dautenbach, Rabenhain and Hasenbahnhof

There are many well-known and scenic running routes in the Dautenbach area - geographically located in the triangle between Weidenau, Bürbach, Volnsberg, and Breitenbach on the Siegen side, as well as the neighboring city of Netphen and its district Dreis-Tiefenbach.
The jogging route runs partly along the ridge, which also marks the border between the two Siegerland municipalities. The ridge path is also an ancient route dating back to Celtic times in this area, on which a section of the Way of St. James and European Long-Distance Path 1 run. In the Siegerland region, it is known as the "Butterweg" (Butter Road), as agricultural products from Hessen were transported to the city of Siegen here in the past.
