Lurzenbach and Giebelwald

The route is characterized by the easy start of the tour over the Lurzenbach ridge with its wide views. Afterwards, the runner enters an uninhabited forest area that stretches for many kilometers to the Siegtal valley, which also offers short viewpoints here and there. The forests are quite structured and partly with high proportions of deciduous forest.
By the way, the starting point is only just under a kilometer away from the Siegerland West rest area on the A 45 in a southerly direction (between the Freudenberg and Siegen exits). The committed runner driving south on the motorway can also join the tour from there via a section of forest path and through meadow paths. Orientation is easily possible via Google Maps.
