You cycle through fields, meadows and floodplain landscapes, discover country manors and knight's seats, and can explore an extensive nature reserve. Along the way, old half-timbered farmhouses, windmills and watermills, medieval churches, an old school, and a fire station convey local history. Along the route along the Wiehengebirge, there are viewpoints into the North German lowlands and sites of old legends about the Saxon Duke Widukind. During a walk through the Lübbecke city center, you can trace the history of feudal, merchant, and industrial culture from the early Middle Ages to the present day.
Parking spaces in the east, west, or center of the city area are just as suitable as the Lübbecke train station as a starting point.
