Schermbeck in sight and Schermbeck in the ear - during a visit to our beautiful community or while taking a walk as a resident through the streets, you can now learn more about our small village between Rhineland and Westphalia. Take out your smartphone and ears on. Through *signs with QR codes in the streets, you can play an audio file directly from your phone. With historical buildings in sight or a look at the landscape, you will learn what lies behind the historically significant facades.
Many listening stations in the town center provide insights into power structures, border lines, diocesan affiliation, and the lifestyle of past generations here in this place. Either you listen to the historical insights at the respective location, or you get a vivid auditory impression here on the map.
Many stories are told by local historian Hans Zelle. Additional stations will be added gradually.
