Mülheim-Selbeck to Ratingen
Shortly after the start of the stage, we catch a glimpse of the well-kept golf course of Selbeck. Then we enter the forest and shortly afterwards cross the A3.
We hike about ten kilometers in a wide arc around the Ratingen district of Lintorf. We also get a little sniff of Duisburg. Spectacular is the passage directly along the runway of Düsseldorf Airport towards the end of the trail.
The tour ends in the Volkardey recreational park between Silbersee and Grünem See. The alternating between extensive forest tracks and the points of contact with the traffic flows around the neanderland are the characteristic features of this stage.
