X10 - Wage path

250 steps of the celestial ladder form the first athletic challenge.
We hike over the Tönsberg, past the archaeological open-air museum, through the area of the nature conservation major project Senne, north of Stapelager Senne (military training area) towards Augustdorf.
Descending over a pass between Großer Ehberg and Allhornsberg, we arrive at Lopshorner Allee. The path leads us to the Teutoburg Forest transmitter on Bielstein, past the Dreiflußstein (watershed of Weser, Ems, Rhine) through a chestnut avenue towards Hangstein. East of Detmold-Berlebeck, we turn south; reaching the Kreuzkrug in Schlangen-Oesterholz after passing the second highest point at 412 m north of the Winnfeld plateau.
Passing the Archaeological Trail Oesterholz, past Bronze Age burial mounds in Kohlstädt, first mentioned in 1036 as Colstidi, we encounter the former water mill Starke. On the section south of the Hohlstein Cave, we reach the highest point of our hike at around 430 m. The final section leads us next to the former Kattenmühle through the romantic Silberbachtal, connecting to the Egge Mountains through Leopoldstal to the train station, the destination of our hike.
