Glassworks way

Past the mighty Aabach dam, you will reach the old glassworks. In the past, there was a small settlement here, where nearly 100 people lived around 1900. Due to the abundance of wood, glass in the form of bottles and drinking glasses was produced here. Historical boundary stones and the mystical Totenkopfstein also invite you to a small, contemplative journey through time. The valleys of the small and large Aa rivers enchant on this hike with their flora and fauna, while the hilly landscape offers excellent views of the surrounding countryside.
