Circular hiking trail Halver Heesfeld (A12) - Cozy through beech forests

The Heesfelder Mühle, a popular destination in the "Oben an der Volme" region in the Märkisches Sauerland, is the starting and ending point of this short hike along green meadows and through a beautiful forest area. At the starting point of the circular trail, there is a parking lot and in the historic buildings of the Heesfelder Mühle, there is now a café among other things.
The hike, marked with the trail sign A12, is characterized by a more challenging ascent/descent for inexperienced hikers, which, once at the top, promises great views. Due to the nature of the paths, appropriate footwear is recommended. A detour to the small rest area with an information board on the topic of "charcoal burning" along the A11 hiking trail is worthwhile.
After the short hike, a visit to the fruit variety garden of the Heesfelder Mühle is also worthwhile, not far from the mill's building complex. Information boards here provide many interesting facts for hikers, and a forest sofa invites you to a relaxing break.
