Volume Treasure Reservoirs - The South Seas of the Region

Admittedly, this themed hiking trail with its 11.2 km takes time and climbing up to Homert at 538 m above sea level is quite a challenge! However, the Jubachtalsperre, an idyllic gem among the reservoirs in the Märkisches Sauerland, and the panoramic views from the Homert tower reward every effort.
The themed hiking trail "South Sea of the Region" brings the reservoirs closer through informative display boards. Digital content about the Sauerland lakes can be accessed via QR codes. The hike also leads through the Fernhagener Bruch nature reserve and Jubachtal.
The Jubachtalsperre itself can be explored on a small walking path. As it is a drinking water reservoir, swimming and water sports are prohibited. The view from the imposing rubble stone dam in Art Nouveau style (built 1904-1906) sweeps over the valley. Two forest sofas invite you to enjoy the sun.
At Homert, the circular hike "Ochsentour am Stilleking" also starts. So, for those who want to hike more, they can seamlessly continue here.
Special features along the way: in addition to the information boards with exciting information and some QR codes for additional videos or audio tracks, you can also discover a treasure chest of experiences and a panoramic picture frame along the way.
