EifelSpur Wilderness Trail

Peace, fresh forest air, and rustling leaves - on this hike on the "Eifelspur Wildnispfad" you immerse yourself in the wilderness of the forest around Dahlem. The rustling of the leaves in the wind, the birdsong from the depths of the forest, and the crunching under your shoes are the only sounds you will hear. Perfect for switching off.
The Wildnispfad first leads you to the Klosterkonvent Maria Frieden. There you can enjoy a magnificent view over the vast fields around the Klosterkonvent. The monastery was founded in the 1950s and even today nuns still live here. Oils and herbal drinks are produced in the monastery's own herbal workshop.
You will traverse untouched nature reserves, impressive mixed deciduous forests, and pass by large open spaces where you can linger. Between the forests, you will repeatedly get beautiful views over wild herb meadows. You can also catch a glimpse of the small Dahlemer Binz airfield occasionally.
Two rest areas invite you to take a break where you can enjoy the sunshine in the clearings.
