Schieder Castle
Hidden behind tall trees lies a special gem of Baroque architecture and landscape design in Lippe. The reconstructed Baroque garden in Schieder Castle Park was festively opened in May 2009. Guided tours are possible at any time with advance registration.

Emmer-Auen-Park with fitness equipment
The Emmerauen Landscape Park represents a precious, natural and quiet area of nature in the historic core city of Steinheim. In the park itself, there are several alleys, a natural ice rink or rather a playground, plenty of water, ducks, tranquility, and recently also sports equipment.

Vinsebeck Water Castle
Vinsebeck Castle is a water castle in the Vinsebeck district of Steinheim. The former summer residence of the Paderborn cathedral canons is privately owned and can be visited both inside and outside.

Norderteich
The Norderteich is an artificially created lake through damming near Billerbeck. The lake is the oldest nature reserve in Lippe and a popular excursion and hiking destination.

Alpaca and Stork Farm
The Möller family offers various hikes through the nearby forest with their alpacas. In addition, there is an ostrich farm directly on the farm, which has existed since 2020 and operates species-appropriate animal husbandry. Currently, they own 35 ostriches and sell their own products. Ostrich egg liqueur, pasta, or eggs.
