The hike starts in the middle of the Marxloh district, which is also known for its bridal fashion mile and its authentic, international gastronomy offer. Then it goes straight through Europe's largest steelworks to the Rhine. From the Alsumer Berg, you have a magnificent view of the industrial backdrop and the Rhine. The route takes you through the Botanical Garden Hamborn to the Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord, a former ironworks that now combines nature, industrial culture, and light spectacle as a big city oasis. Along the way, numerous photo spots await you.
