The Moorhenniespfad is also audible. At the information boards you will find a QR code with a link to an audio file. Simply hold your smartphone to it and let witnesses tell you their stories. The Moorhenniespfad owes its name to the story "Moorhennies" from 1903 by the Neustadt publisher Wilhelm Sicius. The story takes place between the moor and the Leine River during the Thirty Years' War (1618-1648). The focal point of the action is the Moorkrug (Moorhenniespfad-Station 8, Southern Route).

The Moorhenniespfad is a project of the Kultur- und Verschönerungsverein Poggenhagen e.V. in cooperation with the Angelsportverein Neustadt a. Rbge. and the NABU local group Neustadt a. Rbge.
