Rühen - Giebel - Rühen
The educational trail leads through the Lower Saxon part of the Drömling, the largest wetland in the region with international significance. Since the 18th century, the Drömling has been drained multiple times and cultivated for agriculture through human intervention. Habitats of animals and plants have been altered and even threatened in their existence. At seven stations, the educational trail shows the transformation from a natural landscape to a cultural landscape.
