Starting point of our demanding hike is the "HarzWaldHaus" in the spa park. We hike via the Ahrendsberger Stieg to the youth forest hostel and the Ahrendsberger Cliffs (Hallesche Hütte). Through charming landscape, we master the steep descent into the Okertal and further to the Romkerhaller Waterfall. This is followed by a steep ascent to the Käste. Here we can linger at the Kästehaus before hiking back towards Bad Harzburg via the Steinbrecherweg and Café Goldberg. On the Ringweg or the Stadtstieg, we return to our starting point, the spa park.
