Niedersächsische Milchstraße Nr. 3 -> Lower Saxony Milk Way No. 3

A good starting point for the round trip is Cadenberge train station. From here, the tour leads through the Wingster forest area and up to a proud 26 meters in altitude.
The route passes by the waterworks and leisurely downhill towards Ihlienworth. If you are there during the opening hours of the Landfrauenmarkt, you should take a break here. There is plenty to discover with lots of delicious, fresh, and local products.
The cycle path continues along fields and small villages. Shortly before Seemoor, a detour to the Balksee nature reserve can be added. The route then continues towards Oste via Weißenmoor and Dobrock. Here you ride along the inland dyke to the village of Oberndorf.
The maritime Oberndorf is home to the oldest passenger ship in regular service, the Mocambo, at the ship's landing stage.
From Oberndorf, a visit to the Hasenfleeth dairy can be undertaken.
From Oberndorf, it is about 5 km back to the starting point of the tour.
