RI20 - Cherry Lane Todenmann

The past of Todenmann has been shaped by a variety of cherry trees for about 2 centuries. For decades, the town adorns itself with the title "Cherry Village".
In line with the Cherry Project, the long-standing idea of creating a circular hiking trail has been realized. The course of the trail through the town is depicted on two large display boards. Information panels about specific cherry varieties are set up on the areas newly planted with cherry trees and on some fruit orchards. The path is also signposted with signs. It has a length of about 4 km and invites you to take an informative walk through Todenmann. An even longer loop of the trail is also marked.

While in the past the village was characterized by its scattered location on agriculturally difficult terrain, today the charm of Todenmann lies in its open, hilly landscape crisscrossed by streams. Especially in clear weather, Todenmann invites you to take a walk with beautiful views. The view often extends far into the Weser Valley and to the adjacent mountain ranges. Numerous benches and well-equipped gastronomy offer opportunities to relax and unwind.
