This tour leads out into the mixed beech forests to the north of the village - but this time a little further and up to the plateau that stretches around the neighbouring village of Meensen. From the village, head north past the village hall, past the water tank and a little later into the forest. Near the tarred road, which is not crossed, the trail then leads southeast along wide paths through the forest - after a few hundred metres, a 150-metre detour to the left to the ruins of Brackenburg Castle is worthwhile. Following the contour line for the most part, the trail east of the village at the Osterberg joins the fields and leads back to the centre of the village. About ten kilometres, few easy ascents, sturdy footwear is recommended.
