Weser Cycle Path, Stage 6: From Verden to Bremen

From Verden, the cycle path leads past the Langwedeler Lock Canal, past the Romanesque St. Sigismund Church in Daverden towards Achim. Shortly before Achim is Etelsen, known for its castle. A few kilometers further, you reach the Badener Berge in Achim-Baden, which offers a magnificent view.
Your tour now takes you across the Weser Bridge to Thedinghausen. The Erbhof Castle in Thedinghausen is an outstanding example of Weser Renaissance architecture in the Middle Weser region. Since 1999, the municipality of Thedinghausen has been the owner of this architectural and cultural gem. From Thedinghausen, the Weser Cycle Path leads to Dreye in the municipality of Weyhe. In the station area, a museum steam locomotive from 1942 commemorates the Weyhe railway history. The "Wieltsee" marina is the largest marina in the Middle Weser region. Passing the Werdersee, the path leads you directly to the city center of the Hanseatic City of Bremen.
