Panorama trail Duingen

Discover on this approximately 17 km long circular hiking trail small, cozy places, enjoy great views over the Leinbergland and let your thoughts wander freely.
A possible starting point of the circular hiking trail is the hiking car park Wulfseiche/Alter Teichweg near Duingen. From there, the trail initially leads on the Ith-Hils-Weg towards Marienhagen. The path along the ridge of the Duinger Berg is a special experience with fantastic views over the Külftal. The best view is offered from the Leineberglandbalkon, an open hiking hut that invites you to linger and have a picnic. On the steeply sloping northeastern flank of the Duinger Berg, there are some limestone cliffs and limestone quarries, mostly hidden in the forest.
Then it goes downhill towards Rott and through the fields further on to Hoyershausen, the small village of Lütjenholzen and on to Brunkensen, where there is an opportunity to stop for refreshments. From Brunkensen, a detour to the Räuber-Lippoldshöhle is worthwhile, a freely accessible cave surrounded by many legends. The most famous legend revolves around the robber Lippold, to whom the cave owes its name.
The way back then leads over Hohenstein on the Ith-Hils-Weg to the starting point of the circular hike.
